ANDERSON – Maude Ladd Holland, 92, widow of William Luther Holland, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Williamston, she was a daughter of the late Joseph C. and Mattie Ellis Ladd. She was retired from Milliken and was a member of the Williamston First Baptist Church. Surviving are daughter, Sandra H. Poore of Anderson; grandchildren, Angie Teeple, Lisa Cheek, Valerie Garrison; six great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; sister, Lois Holcombe of Hickory Tavern; and brother, Kenneth Ladd of Williamston. She was predeceased by sisters, Mary Woods and Louise Hutcheson; and brother, Floyd Ladd. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012 in the social hall of the Williamston First Baptist Church with a memorial service immediately following.
